London Brick featured on BBC TV programme ‘Inside the Factory’

Our popular London Brick has been featured on BBC programme ‘Inside the Factory’.

The programme delved back to the Stewartby plants heyday as it looked at why it is said that 1 in 5 people in the area have Italian roots.

Historian Ruth Goodman visited Bedford and discovered how Italians settled in the area to work at the brickworks, providing much needed help to rebuild Britain after the war.
